All is good at allgood

The allgood station at the pit is designed as an inclusive station that invites students and other guests to enjoy the benefits of eating at the dining hall without having to worry about the top 9 food allergies or restrictions. Our main goal is to be able to serve everyone, and for that, we must take accommodations into account. Harvest Table’s Registered Dietitian, Madison Fishler trains and certifies all associates who prep and cook for this station to ensure that meals are handled safely and correctly.

“The allgood station serves food prepared without the top 9 food allergens which include wheat/gluten, shellfish, fish, soy, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, and eggs. This list doesn’t encompass all food allergies that people can have but it does a pretty good job of servicing the majority of our guests,” said Fishler.

Allgood has an individual food prep area including dedicated cookware, pans, and service ware. All meats that are served in this station are also Halal. The team emphasizes the use of simple recipes that are easily customizable to allow guests to add the spices of their liking. All of the recipes from this station come from a list that is pre-approved by our regional team. As a fan favorite, the tacos are served twice a week and are definitely allgood’s most popular dish. Other favored dishes include flank steak, sweet potatoes, and other made-to-order station creations.

“We will be trying some new recipes and concepts in the Fall that I am excited about, so be on the lookout!” Said Fishler.

Those students who feel like they need more assistance are encouraged to visit the Deacon Dining website and apply for access to the Stress Less Pantry also located in the pit.

“At a baseline, the entire pantry is gluten-free, but we also have dairy alternatives and other items as well,” said Fishler.

Our goal is to ensure that all of our guests feel as safe as possible; if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to Madison Fishler at fishler-madison@harvesttableculinary.com
