Every year, the Deacon Dining team comes together during the holiday season to support one another. While students enjoy a well-deserved winter break, many dining associates face several weeks without work. To ensure no team member struggles with food insecurity during this time, Deacon Dining organizes an annual grocery drive.
Reusable tote bags are packed to the brim with non-perishable items and essential groceries for staff to take home. This initiative reflects the team’s commitment to caring for its own and doing its part in the fight against food insecurity, especially during the holidays.
