Last Wednesday, we at Harvest Table decided to press pause for a moment and show our team just how much they mean to us.
As the heart of our operation, our team plays an essential role in everything we do. Every day, they create memorable experiences for our guests, and their passion and dedication are what keep us going. It’s their hard work and spirit that make all the difference, and we believe it’s important to show appreciation whenever we can.
For one of our employee appreciation events, we gathered our team for an afternoon of creativity, connection, and care. We knew we wanted to do something a little different, something that would allow everyone to unwind and reconnect. And what better way to do that than with a little art therapy?
We were lucky enough to have our very own Digital Specialist, Isabel, step in to lead the session. Isabel, who is a K-12 licensed visual arts educator and previously worked in the schoo, shared her expertise and guided us through a group painting experience. It was an opportunity for our team to create something beautiful—whether it was painting rain boots, citrus designs, or their very own masterpieces. The atmosphere was both relaxing and inspiring, and we could feel the stress of the workweek melt away with every brushstroke.
As we painted, there were fresh drinks and snacks on hand, and the laughter flowed as freely as the paint. It was the perfect way to slow down, soak up some sunshine, and spend time together outside of our usual busy workdays. For a few hours, we weren’t just coworkers—we were friends, sharing a moment of joy and creativity.
The day reminded us of something truly special: the sense of connection we have as a team. We know that taking time to appreciate one another and acknowledge the hard work everyone puts in every day is just as important as the work itself. The spirit of collaboration and support is what makes Harvest Table feel like home.
We want to take a moment to thank everyone who helped plan and organize this event. Your efforts made the day even more special. And to our incredible team—thank you.
