Supper Club

Every month, the Harvest Table culinary team invites students to be part of their exclusive Supper Club dinner featuring a 5-course plated tasting menu. On April 24, their ‘student extravaganza’ offered creations by Harvest Table’s Executive Chef, Dustin Sriver. Before the dinner, students were asked to pick one ingredient featured in one of the dishes that day. The winners are picked out randomly and are allowed to invite one guest to experience a memorable culinary experience on campus. Our chefs seldom get the opportunity to focus on small-scale events as they constantly prepare meals for thousands of guests. Supper Club, on the other hand,  gives our chefs the liberty to showcase their talent and employ their creative freedom while having a closer connection with students.

“This is such a fun opportunity that allows us to experiment a little more with our dishes so we’re happy to see you here,” said Sriver.

From a Spanish-inspired salad with manchego cheese to a plant-forward berry pavlova for dessert, the menu featured a variety of flavors. Supper clubs are a fantastic opportunity for students and the Harvest Table culinary team to offer campus foodies, high-quality dishes. Food is not the only priority at Supper Club, the team makes sure to set a beautiful table that matches the theme of the evening.

“Everything was delicious and beautiful,” said Junior, Abi Wade.

Previous Supper Club dinners have had creatively themed menus, and partnered with the WFU Campus Garden, to create wonderful community-based events. Make sure to join our next Supper Club by signing up on our website!
