Thanking a Hard Worker

Deacon Dining is taking a moment to appreciate Catering Coordinator Tanya Qualkenbuch. Tanya was the recipient of an anonymous gratitude message from faculty and staff through The Center for the Advancement of Teaching. The kind message reads as follows:

“Thank you for your assistance with all things catering. While your dedication to
excellence is obvious, your patience and kindness with all your interactions is
awesome. You are quick to respond, knowledgeable with your suggestions and
explanations, and you make event planning much easier to understand. It is
wonderful to work with you, and you are truly amazing at what you do!”

This message was sent as part of ‘The Center for the Advancement of Teaching’s Thank a Teacher or Colleague Program’. The Give Thanks program is designed to recognize individuals in our community who make a difference in the lives of others. You fill out the appropriate form and the organization takes care of everything else! Your note is sent to the person you are thanking at the end of the semester.

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching aims to advance passionate, reflective, and evidence-informed teaching. “We contribute to Wake Forest’s distinctive mission by encouraging the development of teacher-student relationships that prepare all students to live examined, purposeful lives.”
