Welcome Back, Dining Team!

This past week, Harvest Table and Deacon Dining were delighted to welcome back our dedicated dining employees to the Wake Forest campus. It was a joy to see so many familiar faces alongside many new ones, filling the room with energy and enthusiasm.

Harvest Table is deeply committed to providing clean, sustainable and delicious food, a promise that defines everything we do. Our dedication to quality ingredients and responsible sourcing is more than just a business model—it’s a story we live every day. To ensure that our entire team understands and embodies this commitment, we recently held an orientation where staff members were immersed in our mission and values. This experience not only connected our team to the heart of our work but also empowered them to share our story with the community.  Our food tells a story—one that reflects the care in its preparation, the hands that crafted it, and the values we uphold.

Another key focus of the day was on food health and safety training. Staff members received important reminders about proper sanitation, allergen-safe serving practices, and other procedures to ensure a clean and safe dining environment for everyone.

Our wonderful staff with ‘Under the Oaks Catering’ team provided a fresh and hot lunch. Staff were treated to a buffet styled lunch of homemade pulled pork, mac and cheese, collard greens, baked beans, hushpuppies and sweet treats.

Harvest Table is so excited to have our wonderful staff back on campus. We see how dedicated, kind, and talented our staff is. Your commitment to this program is seen every day in the smiles that you bring to our wonderful students. Thank you for all that you do.
