Woman’s History Month starts March Fifth in the Pit

We are kicking off our collaboration with the WFU Women’s Center on March Fifth in the Pit! Our first feature is Harvest Table Culinary Group Employee Joanne Dagostino. Joanne Dagostino works at Under the Oaks catering here at Wake Forest! She was born on Long Island, New York. She has one older sister and lived in her mom’s childhood home until she moved to North Carolina in 1995. She graduated from Wake Forest Rolesville High School where she was an active member of the marching band. After graduation she attended Wake Technical Community Collage & Chef’s Academy where she earned her Culinary and Pastry Chef’s degrees.  Joanne won the top Chef’s Choice award for her senior pastry salon display of Alice in Wonderland. She worked in various restaurants and hotels as hostess, line cook, dessert baker and Food and Beverage Manager. Joanne moved to Winston Salem in 2017, and lives with her boyfriend and 2 pups, Mason & Oreo. She enjoys spending her days off volunteering at Forsyth Humane Society and baking specialty cakes and desserts for friends and family.
